Take a horseback ride on the beach. Visit Reach Falls and Somerset Falls, and other attractions just a short trip from Great Huts. Bird Watchers will find the crown jewel of West Indian Hummingbirds, the streamer tail or doctor bird, along with 3 other species of hummingbird, regular sights at Great Huts.

Explore the Rio Grande Valley, including Moore Town and Nanny Town, where live the Windward Maroons, descendants of the runaway slaves led by Nanny. Explore the ruins of the colonial era estates.

Then try some signature jerked pork and chicken at the Boston Jerk Center, just outside Great Huts' gate. The laid-back locals are particularly good natured, and easy to make friends with.
