Paul is a collector-enthusiast of Jamaican and African art, and also operates a bed and breakfast at his home in Washington, DC.
In 2001 he acquired land at Boston Cliffs and began designing and building what has become Great Huts - Paradise on the Edge.
Paul's love affair with Jamaica began during his medical training when he participated in a nutrition and public health program in Lucea, Jamaica, through Cornell and the University of the West Indies. A regular visitor to the Island for the past decade, particularly to Negril, Paul fell in love with Port Antonio, its rugged landscape, and her wonderful people.
Paul loves to hike in the Blue Mountains and to learn about Jamaican history and culture. He is pictured (below) with Cl Harris, leader of the Maroons.
